About Hebeko

Who we are

Hebeko is a Linux and free software engineering company. Our engineers travel anywhere in France and work remotely when the project allows. We help local authorities, public bodies, non-profits and SMEs regain control of their IT, by leaving Microsoft 365, Windows and other proprietary and non-European dependencies. We work from audit to operations and maintenance, with training for administrators and users. We contribute to the free software projects we use, including Sécurix, La Suite numérique and Grafana.

Our commitments

  • Free software only We install and maintain free software, whose code can be audited and taken over by another provider. Our approach to free software
  • Your servers, in your name Servers are rented in your organisation's name, in France, and your data stays there.
  • Documentation handed over Operations documentation and audit reports belong to you, whether or not you keep working with us.
  • One engineer as your contact The engineer who answers you is the one who works on your servers and desktops.

How it starts

  1. A one-hour first conversation By video call, with an engineer. You describe your context, tools and constraints, and we show you the relevant software running.
  2. An audit or a scoping phase 2 to 5 days depending on the scope. You receive a report, an action plan and a quote. The report is yours, whatever comes next.
  3. The project, then ongoing support Migration, installation or development, in stages you sign off. Then support, maintenance or managed services, at the level you choose.
